料金改定
東京のタクシー料金が今春から値上げされます。2022年10月以来の改定となり、東京23区全域に加え、武蔵野市と三鷹市も対象となります。
初乗り運賃（500円）の適用が1.096キロメートルから1キロメートルになるほか、1区間あたりの加算運賃（100円）は255メートルから232メートルに短縮する。時速10キロメートル以下の時間分加算（100円）も1分35秒から1分25秒に短縮する。とのことです。
日本のタクシー運転手の平均年収は400万円前後で、他の業界と比較すると比較的低い水準とのことです。今回の値上げは、主に運転手の賃金上昇と燃料価格の高騰に伴うコスト増加に対処するもの。

【English】Fare Revision
Tokyo taxi fares will increase this spring. This marks the first revision since October 2022 and will apply across all 23 wards of Tokyo, as well as Musashino City and Mitaka City.
The initial fare (¥500) will now apply from 1 kilometre instead of 1.096 kilometres. The additional charge per section (¥100) will be applied from 232 metres instead of 255 metres. The charge for time spent travelling at speeds below 10 kilometres per hour (¥100) will also be applied from 1 minute 25 seconds instead of 1 minute 35 seconds.
The average annual income for Japanese taxi drivers is around ¥4 million, which is relatively low compared to other industries. This fare increase primarily addresses rising driver wages and increased costs due to soaring fuel prices.
