日本では最近、クマによる襲撃事件が相次いで発生しています。昨日、世界遺産で有名な白川郷（岐阜県白川村）では、体長約1メートルの「ツキノワグマ」と思われる子グマが、展望台行きの観光シャトルバスの乗り場付近に突然現れました。
この事故で、40歳のスペイン人男性観光客が背後から突然襲われ、右上腕を引っかかれましたが、幸い軽傷とのことです。その後、自ら観光協会の案内所まで歩いて助けを求め、救急車で病院に搬送されました。
生息環境の変化、餌や隠れ家の不足、人間の行動、様々な理由が絡み合ってた結果、このような事故が頻発しているようです。いずれにしても、熊が人里に降りてきているのは確かです。行楽の際には、警戒を怠らず、単独行動を避け、食べ物を露出させず、公式発表に耳を傾けてください！

In Japan, there has recently been a series of bear attacks. Yesterday, in Shirakawa-go (Shirakawa Village, Gifu Prefecture), famous for its World Heritage status, a cub, believed to be a Japanese black bear measuring approximately one metre in length, suddenly appeared near the boarding point for the sightseeing shuttle bus heading to the observation deck.
In this incident, a 40-year-old Spanish male tourist was suddenly attacked from behind and suffered a scratch to his right upper arm, though fortunately only sustained minor injuries. He subsequently walked to the tourist association's information centre to seek help and was transported to hospital by ambulance.
Such incidents appear to be occurring frequently, likely due to a combination of factors including changes in habitat, scarcity of food and shelter, and human activity.
