This drama, centred on property fraud, is modelled on the Sekisui House ¥5.5 billion fraud case episode depicted the perpetrators fleeing, and it seems similar incidents occur daily in the real world.
In November 2025, an attempted land fraud occurred in Tokyo's Bunkyo Ward, leading to the arrest of two suspects posing as property owners. Suspect S, arrested and indicted this January as an accomplice in this case, was have been one of the groundmen responsible for preparing the withdrawal accounts in the Sekisui case. In this latest incident, Suspect S is alleged to have been involved in forging crucial documents such as health insurance cards.
